Debbie Doyle, 73, of Groves, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, surrounded by loving family members at her daughter’s house in Port Neches.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Reverend Rod Nesmith. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Debbie was born in Abbeville, LA, on November 5, 1949, to Lawless and Francis Broussard. She was married to the love of her life, Bo Doyle for forty-nine years. She worked for Dr. Victores at Southeast Texas OBGYN for twenty years but was a nurse for forty years. Debbie loved to shop, spend time with family, especially the little ones, camping with her husband and friends, and tending to her rose garden Bo planted for her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Bo Doyle; and her brothers, Ricky and Mark Broussard.
Debbie was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, momma, aunt, mimi, and godmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kristie Gilchrist and her husband Chad of Port Neches, TX; her son, Kevin Doyle, and his wife Joni of Orangefield, TX; grandchildren: Mason Roccaforte, Kacey Broussard, Presleigh Doyle, Savannah Gilchrist, and Burkleigh Doyle; and her brothers, Bruce Broussard of Nederland, TX; Brian Broussard of Groves, TX; Todd Broussard of Groves, TX; Weldon Broussard and his wife Linda of Groves, TX, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Gilchrist, Jeremy Broussard, Ricky Broussard, Mason Roccaforte, Cole Broussard, and Tyler Lyon. Honorary Pallbearer is Sean Bordonaro.
Debbie and her family would like to thank Dorothy Braziel for her unconditional love and support until the very end. Kristie would like to thank her husband, Chad, for being her rock and remaining by her side throughout it all. Finally, thanks and appreciation is given to nurses: Denise Alexander, Jordan Ozio, and Stacy with Amedisys Hospice for their genuine compassion, dedication, and support during this difficult time.
