Deborah Hanley Brinlee, 54, of Vidor, formerly of Nederland, passed away at her home on June 18, 2011. She was born on December 17, 1956, in Homestead, Florida and was the daughter of William Boyd Brown and Shirley Dean. Deborah has been an area resident since the age of three.She was employed as a coding specialist for the Eye Centers of S.E. Texas and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor.Deborah is survived by her daughter Nicole Kibodeaux of Nederland grandson Devin Kibodeaux of Nederland sister Gina Smith of Baytown brothers: Stephen Brown of Nederland and Kenneth quotSmittyquot Smith of Baytown and her mother Shirley Brown of Woodville.She is preceded in death by her father and her husband Michael Hanley.A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, June 20, 2011, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Ave H, in Nederland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, at Melancon39s Funeral Home, with Reverend Terry Wright, of First Baptist Church of Vidor, officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Mrs. Brown and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Debbie. We were friends growing up and went to school together. She has always been in my heart as a friend even though we lost contact with each other over the years. I still remember the great times we had when you all lived on Boyd street.
