Debra Choate Bailey

Debra Choate Bailey 58, of Groves passed away on Friday January 17, 2014. Debra was born March 15, 1955 in Port Arthur, Texas to Mabry J. Choate and Mildred Frances Gresham Choate. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Port Arthur. Debra was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a Respirator Therapist at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur and later worked as a Bookkeeper for Drago Hardward. Debra was preceded in death by her father Mabry J. Choate. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 20, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Pastor Michael Due officiating. Debra is survived by her husband Kerry Bailey of Groves; mother Mildred Frances Choate of Port Arthur; two daughters Crystal New of Fannett, Texas and Charity Hess and husband Garry of Groves; two sisters Marjie Hester of Groves and Marlene Johnson of Houston; two granddaughters Shyla New and Hazel Hess.
