We are going to miss you so much. There are so many memories I have of you that I could never list them all. I will miss the smile you always had even when you didnt feel good. You always sang a silly song or had a funny joke to tell. You made the funniest noises too. You loved your family and took pride in them. You were a one of a kind and no one will be able to replace you. I had you my whole life and if seems strange that when I come home to visit you wont be there. But I know you are in a place where you dont have to hurt, feel bad, have tests, or see a doctor anymore. You are whole and with Jesus. What a party your homegoing must have been in heaven. We all loved you Uncle Delbert, more than anything. We will miss you. But we will see you again someday. Love you

It is hard to grasp that the time has come that I will no longer see your smile, hear your voice, hear a joke, hear you call me quotdumpquot, or hug you. Even though you are gone, you will always be a very special part of my life. You were more than an uncle to me. You were my hero in so many ways and you were like a grandfather to me. You have been with me through everything in my life I knew I could always count on you There are too many memories to even recount here but, each one is special in its own way. Most of them always leave a smile on my face and happiness in my heart I am so thankful that you were still here for my kids to have shared some of the same funloving memories of you I had as a kid I will never forget you nor your funny little sayings There will never be another quotUNCLE DELBERTquot May you rest in Peace We love you more than words could ever express

I knew Delbert his brother as a youngster from Franklin school Woodrow Wlson Junior High. He his parents lived near DeQueen school on 7th street. We use to play together. Some how we got involved with different interest as we grew up went on our way. He was a fine fellow back then.

We love you Uncle Delbert very much and will miss that SMILE of yours. You were always like a grandpa to me. You always new how to light up the room with all your funny noises, jokes and songs that you would sing. You will always be known as the quotBack Scratcher Manquot I think everyone in the surrounding counties know who you are from those awesome back scratchers that you made. You will be missed so much but never forgotten. I always cherish the times we spent together and you making me laugh and always rubbing my arm and saying quotHow do you women get such smooth skinquot and always telling me and Vic how much you love us. Those are the special times that I will always remember about you. You always had those special little phrases that everyone loved. I will miss you dearly Uncle Delbert. May you rest in peace.
