Delores Carrell, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 1, 1934, Delores lived a life filled with love, family, and faith. She was deeply committed to her role as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She cherishing every moment spent with her children and all of her grandchildren.

     Delores was a member of the Nederland First Baptist Church, where her faith was evident through her involvement with her Sunday school class. Her warm spirit and nurturing heart impacted many lives within the church community. She had a passion for crafting and enjoyed spending her leisure time shopping. A true dog lover, Delores found joy in the companionship of her furry friends. She was often known to indulged in her favorite pleasures, including a nice hamburger and a chocolate shake from time to time.

     Delores is survived by her son, Joe Carrell, and his wife, Becky, of Nederland, Texas; daughters, Marilyn Murry and her husband, Mike, of Port Arthur, Texas, Belinda Swimmer and her husband, Terry, of Dumas, Texas, and Karla Carrell of Amarillo, Texas. Additionally, she leaves behind eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished her and will carry her memory forward.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie Joseph Leininger and Bernidene Kurtz Leininger. Delores's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

     A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM at Melancon~Levingston Funeral Home located at 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627.

     Delores Carrell will be missed dearly, but her spirit and the joy she brought into the lives of so many will always be remembered.
