Denise Marie Broadus

Denise Marie Broadus, 41, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Denise was born April 7, 1976 in Galveston, Texas to Earl Toulmin Broadus, Sr. and Ella Broussard Broadus. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Val Verde Baptist Church. Denise worked at Claire's Boutique as a sales clerk for 5 years. Survivors include her mother, Ella Broadus of Groves; sisters, Donna Lane and husband Kenneth of Groves, Tammy Blackstock and husband Alan of Mobile, AL, Lisa Greene and husband Buddy of Lucedale, MS; brothers, Robert Broadus and wife Margie of Bridge City, Wayne Broadus of Lucedale, MS, and Brian Linscomb of Orange; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves with Reverend Nick Dignan officiating.
