Steve and family, I am so sorry to hear about your great loss. I just heard the news today or I would have been there yesterday. Denise was such a wonderful person, I so enjoyed being her neighbor for many years as well as working with her at Lamar. She was so kind and loving to everyone she met and she had a heart of gold. I know that she will be missed by many but I know that she is reunited with sweet Jazzy.

My fondest memories of Denise go back 50 years when my mom married into the Hermesmeyer family and we acquired not only the best Daddy 2 ever, we became part of a beautiful extended family! I still remember Denise's laughter and fun loving ways when she would babysit us now and then. We truly missed out by all moving away and not knowing her as not only family, but also as a friend in our adult lives. Our sincerest condolences, Gerald's family...Dani, Randy, Roni, Vicki and Sheri

I met Denise as a student at Lamar. I then became a student worker and her and I became really close. She was a very dear friend of mine. We found out that we had a lot of things in common. She helped me through some tough things, with her love and support. I was there to help her also. She was like family to me and mine. WeI will miss her dearly. We love you Denise. I also want to give my condolences to Steve, Taisha and yours and to Chris and yours. Your wife/momma/meme/sister was a wonderful woman. We will see her again.
