Dennis Paul Reeves, 61, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Dennis was born February 17, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to Calvin E. Reeves and Katherine Williams Reeves. He was a lifelong Groves resident and self-employed truck driver. He was a faithful member of Magnolia Assembly of God Church for 15 years and taught Senior Adult Bible Class and was also involved with Prison Ministries for 15 years. Survivors include his wife of 14 1/2 years, Linda Reeves of Groves; parents, Calvin and Katherine Reeves of Groves; sons, Michael Thien of Nederland, Kevin Thien of Roma, NY; sister, Bonnie Jennings and husband Dale of Port Neches; brother, Tommy Reeves and wife Fay of Groves; niece Rachel Tompkins and husband Brad of Deer Park; nephews, Chris Reeves and wife Amy of Groves and James Reeves and wife Robyn of Ocean Springs, MS. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Kurt Michaelson and Reverend Brent Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

I am going to miss Bro. Dennis but I know he is so happy in Heaven. He was always a great help to those in need and giving of his time. He was a great help to me when I needed it most. Praying for the family in this hard time!

To the Reeves family, My heart is saddened. Many memories of our childhood days and Dennis being part of my first "church family".
