Dercy Joachim Alleman, 87, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas.

Dercy was born July 20, 1933 in Acadia Parish, Louisiana to Baltazar Alleman and Emelie Thibodeaux Alleman.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves.

Dercy was a retired Postal Carrier for the Groves Post Office and a US Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches.

Dercy was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Alleman, 3 sisters and 9 brothers.

Surviving relatives include his daughter, Linda Cormier and husband Mark of Port Acres, Texas; son, Daniel Alleman and spouse Joseph Caillier of Port Arthur, Texas; grandchildren, Lauren Selzer, Jared Cormier, Britteny Contreras, and Chelsie Caillier; great grandchildren, Landon Selzer, Carter Selzer, and J.T. Contreras.
