Dianna Lofton Buethe, 68, of Coldspring, Texas passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Conroe Regional Hospital in Conroe, Texas. Dianna was born August 9, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to John H. Lofton and Mary Branch Lofton. She grew up in Groves and graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School. Dianna lived in Pasadena before moving to Lake Livingston in 1995. She recently retired from the State of Texas as an auditor for Walker County. Many memories of Dianna included her love of cooking. She loved cookbooks and sharing her wonderful traditional recipes with family and friends. She had a green thumb and loved her beautiful flowers, her favorites included her yellow roses and azaleas. She loved sports, her Texas teams the Cowboys and the Astros, and her alma mater Port Neches Groves Indians which she bled purple and had a passionate love for "Always Be Faithful". She loved her home and the sounds of the lake, and the birds she enjoyed every morning with her coffee. She was preceded in death by her brother, John H. Lofton, Jr. "Joey". Survivors include her husband, Douglas "Bud" Buethe of Coldspring; parents, John and Mary Lofton of Groves; daughter, Shane Denman and husband Billy of Port Neches; son, Shane Dorsey and wife Latonya of Huffman; sister, Ellen Kyler of Nederland; grandchildren, Ashleigh Jones and husband Seth, Micah Denman, Hannah Denman, Devryn Dorsey, Kaden Dorsey, Brock Dorsey; great-grandchildren, Haden, Laikynn, Acelynn, Landynn, Britton; and niece, Alecia Kyler. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Your mom was such a sweet lady to all us crazy kids running around and I'm sure her sweet spirit touch many over these years. I truly am sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time!!

I am devastated to hear of Dianna's passing. She was my first cousin and childhood friend. When together we would giggle until the wee hours of the morning or until an adult would come and hush us up. Words cannot express the deep sadness I feel. I am so sorry for your loss.

I went to high school with Diana she was always one of my favorite friends . I can see her now walking down the halls of PNG With her beautiful smile.Sorry for your loss.We reconnected on Facebook several years ago and was thankful for that.

i grew up with her daughter Shane'. We've know each other since we were 3 yrs old. By chance we became sister-in-laws. I am just devastated by this tremendous loss. Diana will certainly be missed by so many!!
