Dianne Doyle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on July 10, 2024, in Groves, Texas, at the age of 78.
Dianne was born on August 14, 1945, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to her loving parents, Elmer and Betty Sheppard. Throughout her life, Dianne exemplified grace, kindness, and strength in all that she did.
She attended Catholic School at Immaculate Conception Church in The Groves and then Port Neches-Groves High School where she was an Indianette, honor student, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1963. After high school she went on to get her Associates Degree from Lamar University. She had a long career as an administrative assistant that started at Texaco and went on to include Bethlehem Steel, Chevron, Clark, Premcor, and finally Valero where she retired after 43 years of work service.
Her true favorite past time was watching any and all things PN-G, but loved when Michael, C-C, Jarod, Jake, Jaxon, or Hailey were out there the most. Purple was her signature color. “Di” was known for her love of dance and couldn't wait to hit the dance floor at any event. She shared her love and expertise of the pageant and modeling world with countless girls of all ages. The kitchen at her home has been the "stage" for many practice turns.
She is survived by her son, Michael Doyle and his wife, Rachel of Port Neches; her daughter, Carey-Colleen Doyle of Houston; nieces, Kelly Durso, Katie Lischka, Danielle Jackson, and Amberly Sheppard; nephews, Bryan Doyle, Paddy Doyle, Chris Doyle, Justin Olivier, and Aaron Libersat; her sisters, Judy Olivier and Juli Libersat along with Juli's husband Rick; her brother-in-law, Terry Doyle and sister-in-law, Cheryl Doyle. Dianne also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jarod Doyle, Jake Evans, and Jaxon Doyle; great-grandchildren Cole Doyle and Lincoln Evans.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Mike Doyle, and her brother, Tommy Sheppard. The memories created with them will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Dianne's life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Dianne's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
