Dianne “Dee Dee” Pillitere, 81, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2023, at her home in Port Arthur, Texas.
A visitation to honor Dee Dee will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on August 2, 1942 she was the daughter of Alton Dupuis and Margie McGee Dupuis. Dee Dee was a lifelong resident of the city she loved and strived to make better every day, Port Arthur, Texas. She was a volunteer with UBM for over thirty years, a member of her neighborhood watch, and a very active member of her community. She could often be found caring for and enjoying her beautiful yard and garden.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Dupuis.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Phillip “Bud” Pillitere; her children, Greg Pillitere and wife Georgette of Nederland, Chris Pillitere and wife Joan of Cypress, and Andrea Pillitere of Houston; her grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Joshua, and Casey Pillitere; Her great grandchildren, Nora and Bennett Pillitere; her sisters, Chrissy Mullens of Port Arthur, and Donna Norris and husband Terry of Orangefield; her sister in law Karen Dupuis of Port Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude.
