Dixie Lea Roth Thibodeaux

Dixie Lea Roth Thibodeaux, 74, of Groves, Texas passed away, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 7, 1946 to Earl Henry Roth and Clara "Jeanette" O'Banion Roth.

Dixie was a lifelong area resident and member of Procter Baptist Church in Port Arthur.

She was retired from Woodcrest Elementary School as a cook.

Dixie is survived by her daughter, Debra Montgomery and partner James Malet, III of Groves, two sons, Wayne "Joey" Thibodeaux, Jr. and wife Katherine of Lumberton, and Anthony Thibodeaux of Groves, sister, Linda Rice of Nederland, brother, Ronald Roth and wife Jill of Mississippi and two grandchildren, Keith Montgomery and Chaz Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Thibodeaux, Sr. and brother, William "Billy" Roth.

The family will have a private graveside service for Dixie at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.

I share many fond memories of Dixie...with the PN-G High School Band. She and I also shared the same birthday. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.
