Dolores was born on July 31, 1933, in Port Arthur, Texas, to the late Edmea Marie Dugas Broussard and Nathan J. Broussard.

She later served as treasurer of the Texaco Retiree Social Club of Jefferson County and was a member of the O.P.E.R.A. Club.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially playing bingo, sewing, and decorating her home for every season and holiday. Her home was a reflection of her creativity and love, and she took great pride in making every occasion special.
Dolores was also famous in her family for her macaroni and cheese and her tall, beautiful coconut cakes. These beloved recipes were more than just food; they were part of the love she shared and the memories she created around her table.
She will be remembered not only for the things she accomplished, but also for the love she gave so freely, the home she lovingly cared for, and the countless little ways she made life sweeter for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
Her family will carry her love, traditions, and memories in their hearts always. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
