Dolores T. Nelson, 87, of Lumberton, Texas passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at her home. Dolores was born May 16, 1932 in Elton, Louisiana to Robert Emile Linscomb and Heloise Landry Linscomb. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of the Catholic faith. Dolores worked as a Checker at King Savor Grocery for five years. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend J.C. Coon officiating. Entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the funeral home. Surviving relatives include her longtime companion, Darrell E. Smith of Lumberton, Texas; three sons, Timothy S. Nelson of Groves, Texas, Lindsey C. Nelson and wife Tina of Orange, Texas, and Joey D. Nelson and wife Mirenda of Lumberton, Texas; sister-in-law, Molly Linscomb of Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Jessica Darden and husband Bryan, Amy Davidson and husband Ryan, Laura Ford and husband Michael, Dana Lankston and husband Aaron, Johnathon Nelson, Devan Miles, and Dalan Fricano; fifteen great grandchildren, Keith, Valerie, Mackensie, Tristan, Jude, Audrey, Arden, Preston, Landon, Jaiden, Kyler, Hunter, John, Abigail, and Remington. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to Infant Jesus Catholic Church Lumberton.

Tim, Linny and Joey, I am so sorry to hear of Dee's passing. I was thinking about her the other day. I know my mom cherished her friendship through the years. She was a big part of my childhood. I have many memories of time spent at y'all's house in Port Neches. You all are in my prayers.
