My thoughts and prayers go out to Mickey's family. Mickey was a great guy. I spent many days at the Sorg house growing up and the boys were all like brothers to me. (Marianne and I always got picked on by the boys!). Mickey is now in heaven with the rest of the Sorg angels.

My heart goes out to Mickey's wife, children, and grandchild. I doubt anyone in the world has better childhood memories than I do, and my cousin Mickey was a large part of those happy times because we both grew up together, along with my brother Rick and Mickey's siblings: Chris, Danny, Marianne, and Larry. Holidays at Grandma Ann's house were awesome!!!!! My mom and Aunt JoAnn would tell scary stories; we all gathered after dinner to play 'Spoons' (even my dad and Uncle Chris participated, as did Grandpa Johnny). Sometimes we'd all meet up at my parents' house to play pool. Other times we'd be at the Sorg home and play hoops or swim. On Halloween, Uncle Chris would go all out with scary decorations and fun activities for all of us kids (such as bobbing for apples). I will always be grateful for those memories and for being a part of Mickey's life.
