Donald P. Hollier, 62, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown. Donald was born August 15, 1951 in Port Arthur, Texas to Paul J. Hollier and Virgie Mae Hamilton Hollier. He was a lifelong area resident and member of the American Legion Post #0007. Donald proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was retired and a member of the Catholic faith. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Virgie Hollier. Survivors include his wife, Denise Couder Hollier of Groves; daughter, Dawn Broussard and husband Cory of Orangefield; son, Dane P. Hollier and wife Michelle of Groves; step-sons, J. W. Aylor and wife Danielle of Orangefield, Jacob Aylor and wife Stephanie of Groves; sisters, Dee Wiltz and husband Wayne of Nederland, Joyce Daspit and husband David of California, Diane Morvant and husband Michael of Groves; brothers, Emmett Hollier of Nederland, Jody Bonnin and wife Ida of Baytown; grandchildren, Ashtin, Chase, Gage, Ryder and Whitney; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
