Donald Wesley Stanfill Jr.

Donald Wesley "Bubba" Stanfill, Jr., 34, of Nederland, Texas passed away March 13, 2020. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 3, 1986 to Donald Wesley Stanfill, Sr. and Kathy Lynn Tolbert Stanfill.

Those left to cherish Donald’s memory are his wife, Cynthia Johnson Stanfill of Nederland; his mother, Kathy Stanfill Whitley of Nederland; his son, Wesley Stanfill of Nederland; his daughter Jaselyn Stanfill of Little Cypress; his step-children. Daniel Noble, Cali Noble, and Kayden Lee; his brothers, Roy Weatherford, Matt Weatherford, Jason Weatherford, Brent Weatherford, and John Whitley; his sisters, Kassey James and Christy Stapleton; and his grandparents, Ernest and Ann Stanfill. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Wesley Stanfill, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Halliburton officiant.

Bubba was a good friend of mine when we met back in Navasota. He used to fire me up all the time and tell things like, "I don't know, I think he thinks there is something weak about you," with a big smile on his face. He's one of the few people I am reminiscing about now that I'm home. I am sorry he's gone.
