Michelle, Britt, Colby and family, You are constantly on my heart since hearing the news. There is an almost constant prayer on my lips as well. I cannot imagine what you are going through at this time but I believe and Jesus is holding you tightly in his arms and that he will give you comfort and peace. I love you guys so much and am so grateful for the unconditional love and friendship, Michelle, that you and Donald have shown to me for as long as I have known you. I dont have to tell you what a kind, caring, gentle, selfless, loving, loyal and humble man I knew Donald to be, because I know everyone who knew him feels this way and are thankful to have called him friend. I am here for you, anytime, day or night.

To Colby and his family: Colby and Alexis are in the same 2nd grade class together. We are very sad to hear of the untimely passing of your father. It is a hard thing to understand at such a young age. You are in our thought and prayers.

Our hearts are broken for the Gobert family during this most difficult of times. The news of his untimely passing still seems surreal and proves how fragile life is. The family is in our every thought and prayer. In our few encounters with Donald over the past several years it was apparent that he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by many.

To all Donalds family: Your husband, your father, your brother, your son, your grandpa...always had a smile on his face with that quotcan doquot attitude that would quotnever say no to any job whether big or . He worked hard each and every day and had respect for all his coworkers and friends. He will be missed here at Flint Hills in Port Arthur especially by his coworkers with Brock, and all the people who cared for him within the plant. Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the coming days ahead and the months and weeks to follow.
