Donna Ingo Roberts Gonzales, 75, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Donna was born December 11, 1941 in Dequincy, Louisiana to Felix Ingo and Johnie Johnson Ingo. Donna was a longtime area resident and also lived in Austin where she was employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 35 years with South Austin Medical. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kay Tomplait and Doris DuCote; and great-grandson, Jack Felix Roberts. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Sue Rodriguez and her husband Juan of Kyle, TX; son, Raphael Felix Roberts and his wife Karen of Groves, TX; sister, Sue Simon and her husband Mike of Groves, TX; grandchildren, Jesse Ray Roberts, Jennifer Roberts-Walker and her husband Gregory, Kara-Lea Rae Roberts, Felicia Raye Roberts, and Michael Christopher Roberts; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating.

I was one of Ms. Gonzales's caregivers. She was a pleasure to work with, always having a story to tell. having been a nurse, she understood the stress of the job and was always supportive and looking for ways to assist in her own care. I will miss her.

Donna and I worked together many years at South Austin hospital. My son and her grandson are best friends. She was a great lady. She is in a better place dancing with Jesus!!!. I pray for Peace and comfort for the family.
