Donna Lenzi

Donna Lenzi, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Port Arthur, Texas, at the age of 79. Born on April 12, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, she was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Donna dedicated herself to caring for others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, demonstrating her compassion and commitment to the well-being of her patients. She also held the role of RV Park Manager on Pleasure Island, where her warm personality and generous spirit created a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Donna found joy in her pastimes, particularly immersing herself in crossword puzzles by the box, a hobby that brought her both challenge and delight. Her love of life was evident in the laughter she shared with family and friends, and her zest for adventure was mirrored in the stories she loved to tell.

Donna is survived by her cherished daughter, Melissa Wilson and her husband, Randy, of Port Arthur, and several nieces and nephews. She was a proud grandmother to Heather Green, Ashley Green, and Ronald Wayne Wilson, II, and a delighted great-grandmother to Rachel Bowden. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she radiated love in every interaction.

She is also survived by her dear brother, Ronald Sullivan and his wife, Carol, of Michigan. Donna’s loyal companion, her cat, “Blue,” brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life.

She now joins her beloved parents, Ralph and Nettie Sullivan; her sister, Dianne Hazard; and her brother, Joe Sullivan, who preceded her in death.

Donna Lenzi’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will be cherished by all who knew her, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

I knew Donna and her whole family. We grew up together in the summers at our favorite spot at Artesia Beach on Lake Saint Helen in northern Michigan. What great times we all had. She was a good person and I know she will be missed. I am glad I knew her.
