Donna Marie Williams, 37, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Port Arthur, Texas. Donna was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 7, 1984 to Tim and Pam Williams.
Donna had a passion for music. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Lamar University and was a Band Director at Odom Academy in Beaumont, Texas. Donna loved attending family get togethers and she was always a bright light in any room. She loved to travel to new places and was always happy, kind-hearted, loving, forgiving and generous. To know her was to love her and she will be missed by all of her family, countless friends and students.
Those left to cherish Donna’s memory include her parents, Tim and Pam Williams of Nederland, her cat, Callie; her grandmother, Dolores Scank; Aunts, Linda “Susy” Abbott and her husband Kirk, Geri Williams, Karla Strickland and her husband, Gary, Kathy Stelly and her husband, Dale, Terry Brown, Jan Williams, Linda Chilek and her husband, Joe, Beth Langham; uncles, Jimmy Williams and his wife, Darlene; cousin/big sister, Becky Chilek; best friends, Cindy Harris, Peyton Jones and Heather Forrester; numerous cousins, friends and extended family.
Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Tillman Williams, grandfather, Ken Scank; grandmother, Gail Emerson; uncle, Frank Langham; aunt, Libby Hankins and also her loving great-grandparents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Donna's life will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
