Donna was such a precious person. We did so many things together when we were younger. From third grade at Woodcrest Elementary through PNG High and later when we spent time together as mothers. I remember our trips to the beach, our many shopping trips, our trip to Galveston when she was pregnant with Ryan, and taking her kiddos to VBS. We had a lot of good times back then. I will always miss her, even though many years have gone by. Until we meet again in Heaven. In prayer, Linda

Donna was the oldest of three children of J. D. Darnell. Therefore, I am certain that she always looked out for her little brother and sister. As life takes us in different directions we have not seen each other in years but she always knew that her family loved her very much and she will be missed. I know that she is enjoying being with our family who left us in some cases decades ago while others left us a few months ago.

I can only imagine the glorious homecoming Donna experienced on Friday. She got to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant..." (Matt. 25::23) from our Lord. Those who crossed Donna's path have been so very blessed. She touched many people and her sweet memory will live on in our hearts. I went through JH and HS with Donna and am so grateful that we reconnected as adults. With a heart hurting and feeling heavy for family and friends, may our Lord who brings us peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding wrap you in the warmth of His love. Prayers are being lifted up for you. Sweet Donna, 'till we meet, till we meet, till we meet at Jesus' feet; God be with you till we meet again...'

Donna faced life as it rolled. She brought humor and a sense of curiosity about topics and we shared laughter through daily experiences. Her work as a nurse will be remembered as her presence was positive and caring. She exemplified her faith in Christ and for her positivity I shall remember her. May blessings follow your tears. 🎚❤️

Donna had a special place in my heart. First as friends in HS then throughout the years she would check in to see how I was faring when we had inclement weather here in New England. Just this past Thursday this was her last message: "A friend is always friend no matter the miles. Glad you are ok".

Our hearts are broken. We love Donna! She was truly a blessing to our whole family and brought us all such joy. What a special woman! May God comfort you all and bring healing for the pain of losing your sweet Donna. May your hearts be comforted by God and may you feel His love and peace. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."--Matthew 5:4 (Love, Rick, Raquel and family)

My heart aches to lose Donna! Her smiles & hugs at Church on Sunday & weekday Bible Studies will be missed greatly. She was a Sweet, Compassionate lady & Dear Friend who loved her Lord, her family, her Church & Friends! I think the song, "I Can Only Imagine" describes her reaction when she met her Heavenly Father! Rest In Peace, Dear Donna!
