Donnie Richard, 61, of Groves passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at UTMB in Galveston.

A gathering of Donnie’s family and friends will be from 5 to 7 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Agape Christian Fellowship Church, 4400 Lincoln, in Groves.

Donnie was born April 13, 1952 in Port Arthur to the late Allen and Barbara Richard. He retired as a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Agape Christian Fellowship Church in Groves.

Donnie is survived by his wife Bonnie of Groves; his daughter, Jana Riley and her husband Tom of Groves; and son Brad Richard and his wife Rachel of Groves; three brothers, Wayne Richard and his wife Carmen of Mt. Enterprise, Ronnie Richard and his wife Lanell of Groves, and Gary Richard and his wife Sheryl of Labelle; and four grandchildren, Grace, Reid and Olivia Richard, and Owen Riley.
