Donnie Lynn Wilson, 49, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015.

Donnie was born in Nederland, Texas on December 10, 1965 to Alfred and Wanda Wilson.

Donnie is survived by his parents, Alfred and Wanda Wilson of Port Neches; sister,

Melody Guidry of Vidor, Texas; nephew, Brandon Hernandez and wife, Molly of Orange, Texas and his niece, Brandi Alvarez and husband, Frank of Mountain Home, Idaho.

Services for Donnie are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a visitation from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m..

Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Wilson, I dont know if y'all remember me. My name is Kieth Barkwell. I was Donnie's friend. We hung out always fishin and cuttin up and getting stranded a couple of times fishing at Pleasure Island. Lol. Donnie was an awesome friend. He would do anything for anybody at anytime. Great guy and I know a great Son! I just learned about his passing from my cousin. I moved to Indiana in 94 and lost touch with most of my friends. But I would often go back in my memory and reflect those days on the water fishin with him or just hanging out at y'all's place. He had such a funny and hilarious personality as well. Most of all he loved his family deeply. In closing, I just wanted to say,"I'm sorry for y'all's loss". My deepest sympathy and sorry for just now hearing about him and telling y'all now.
