Doris Ruth Becker

Doris Ruth Becker, 92, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Mid-Jeff Extended Care in Nederland, Texas. Doris was born November 4, 1924 in Port Arthur, Texas to Al Bodin and Louise Jennaro Bodin. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary service to begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Becker and her sister, Rosena Andre'. Surviving relatives include three daughters, Donna Robertson and her husband Joe of Port Neches, Texas; Linda Howard and her husband Clyde of Port Neches, Texas; Susan Hebert and her husband Mel of Crowley, Texas; brother, Donald Bodin of Florida; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Wadiya Jacobs, and Texas Home Health for the care of our mother the last several years. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, American Lung Association, or Charity of Choice.
