Doris Marie DeLon

Doris Marie DeLon, 81, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Nederland, Texas. Doris was born April 29, 1929 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Ovey Babineaux and Lydia Hanks Babineaux. She was a lifelong Sulphur resident and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl DeLon; daughter, Donna Morgan and son, Jacky Morgan; and two brothers, Jerry and Steven Babineaux. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Locke and husband, John Locke of Nederland, TX, and Bobbi Morgan of Memphis, TN; brothers, Ovey Babineaux, Jr. and wife, Agnes of Sulphur, LA, Billy Babineaux and wife, Rita of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Kristin Moss, Erin Hebert, Paul Morgan, Tesha Morgan, Jared Conner, Clinton Morgan; great-grandchildren, Joelli, Zachary, Mason, MacKenzie, Seth, Harmony, Evan, Paige, Joseph, Zyler, Kaitlin, Serenity, Sara, Izabell, Jaden and Haley. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2010 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland, Texas with Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Friends wishing may send memorial contributions to the American Lung Association.
