Doris Kendzierski

1927 ∼ 2017

Doris Kendzierski, 89, of Nederland, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, TX. Doris was born on June 17, 1927 to the late Joseph Carlin and Elodie Lamaire Carlin in Goudeau, LA. She was a lifelong resident of Nederland and a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Doris is survived by her sons, Joe Kendzierski of Nederland and Danny Kendzierski and wife, Vanessa of Arizona; daughter, Susan Droddy and husband, Ritchie of Groves; grandchildren, Sarah and her husband Chad, JoEllen and her husband Jordan, Joey and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Emma, Kenodie, Kaylee, Macayla and Molly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Connie Kendzierski.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home located at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, TX. The funeral service will be Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. The interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.

I visited with Doris many times at Magnolia Manor. Such a wonderful personality. She and my friend Carmel Plaia were room mates for 15 months before Carmel died. They became best of friends. I will never forget Doris....she was one in a million ♡♡♡

Doris was in the same room with my friend, Carmel, for over a year. They got to be great friends We all loved Doris...she was a sweettheart. Wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed. Just found out about her death. Would have gone to the funeral for sure. Love to the family ♡♡♡♡ Doris Webb
