Raised next door to Dot and her family...we were like one big family with interchangeable moms...so many memories of her fancy dinner parties in the 60's... sitting in the doorway of her art studio, being very quiet and watching her paint...getting in BIG trouble for giving her 'baby-boy' a very special haircut (with pinking shears), as pre-schoolers...but mostly, memories of laughter, lots of fabulous food and tons of love flowing back and forth from one house to the next....so glad that this very special woman was such a large part of my childhood......Prayers of comfort for her entire family....know that she and Mother are back together, having their coffee and swapping recipes and stories in Heaven.
