Dorothy Faye Anderson, 88, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 13, 1932 to Lee Williams and Alma Miller Williams.
Dorothy was a lifelong area resident and member of Assembly of God Church in Port Neches.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Her nephew, Reverend Brent Williams of MercyGate Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Basham, Chad Basham, Gabriel Basham, Mason Basham McPhatter , Dane Peters, Tommy Reeves and honorary pallbearer, Terry Williams.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Vernell Phillips and husband Mark of Port Arthur, Texas and Kathy Basham of Groves, Texas, son, Jessie Lee Anderson of Nederland, Texas, brother, Reverend Frank Williams of Mont Belvieu, Texas, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Anderson, Jr., daughter, Sheila Peters, son in law, Drew Peters, sister, Katherine Reeves and brother, Dell Williams.
