Dorothy Mae Guerrero, 57, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont surrounded by her family. She was born November 16, 1961 in Goochland, Virginia to Clarence Shoemake and Mary Grace Catron. She had lived in Groves for over 40 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with burial to follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be before the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Joseph Guerrero. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Danny Guerrero of Groves, TX., father, Clarence Shoemake of Merryville, LA., two daughters, Sasha Rae Rebert and husband Chad of Nederland, TX., and Meleca Rae Clark and husband Chad of Bridge City, TX., son, Samuel Ray Guerrero and wife Rae Lynn of Port Neches, TX., sister, Teleca Hansen of Orange, TX., brothers, C.J. Shoemake and Joseph Shoemake and five grandchildren, Liliana Guerrero, Ezra Guerrero, Angel Guerrero, Cheyenne Clark and Luke Rebert.

Sasha and Sam,My heart is broken to pieces to have to say goodbye to your sweet mamma. I will always remember singing with her at church and I will always love her.
