Dorothy L. Soileau

Dorothy L. Soileau, 88, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015. Dorothy was born November 14, 1926 in Peason, Louisiana to E. C. Mills and Gladys Duplissey Mills. She was a lifelong area resident and member of First Baptist Church of Groves. Dorothy was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Lynn Soileau; two sisters, one brother, and 2 daughter-in-laws. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Ulysee "Johnny" Soileau of Groves; daughter, Peggy Sue LeBlanc and husband, Ricky of Groves; two sons, Jimmy Soileau of Lake Charles, LA and Douglas Jay Soileau of Lebanon, TN; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller officiating.
