Dorothy Burton Williams, 79, went peacefully at her home in Santa Fe, Texas on June 12, 2015. Dorothy was born November 1, 1935 in Winston County, Mississippi to Floyd Burton and Mary Miller Burton. She lived a full life and loved gardening, fishing, dancing and Cajun music. Dorothy was an area resident since 1956 and lived in Sabine Pass for 23 years. She will be missed by those who loved and cherished her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Roman Williams and son Roman Stacy Williams, two sisters and two brothers. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Monday June 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Sabine Pass Cemetery in Sabine Pass, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Dorothy is survived by five daughters Dorothy Jean Miller of Sabine Pass, Tina Mathis of Port Acres, Margie Ann Bearden of Orange, Audrey Christine Bahr of Santa Fe, Texas and Vickie LeBeouf of Vidor, one son Charles Edward Allen of Port Arthur, seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
