Dorothy Wingate, a Port Arthur resident for seventy-three years, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2010. An 85 year old homemaker, Mrs. Wingate was the widow of H.K. Wingate and the mother of Claudia and Hubert Martin of Mineola, Keith and Jan Wingate of New Braunfels, and Laurie and Bud Wilder of Rockwall. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
