Douglas Dorien Ashby Heath, 96 of Port Neches, Texas passed away July 17, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. He was born April 18, 1916 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies to the late Harold Douglas and Effie Mabel May Ashby Heath. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a retired chemical engineer with B. F. Goodrich for over 30 years.A memorial service will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Cliff Rucker officiating. Visitation with the family will follow.Douglas is survived by his wife, Elynor Erwin Heath of Port Neches 5 sons, Harold Heath of Houston, Micheal McGreevy of Beaumont, Monty McGreevy of Katy, Tony Niedenthal of Houston, and Tommy Niedenthal of Bangkok, Thailand daughter, Darla Jean Fivecoat of Crosby 18 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Jean Watson and Elizabeth Betty Abritis.
