I have many fond memories of Mike and Doug from Ridgewood Elementary through high school. They use to hunt and one time they were hunting and Doug shot Mike with his pellet gun in the thigh. We didn't find out till many years later that they were playing and shooting at each other. We were told they were in the barn and the gun fell and went off. Love to all the family. Paula Lee

Doug had such a gentle, tender heart. It was not unusual for him to shed tears of joy & sadness when speaking of family & friends. He's been on a long, heart-stretching journey since Connie died. I'm grateful that he was home & surrounded by his family in the last days. In knowing that he's free of all burdens & sadness, in the presence of God & those he loves, makes me smile. I'm looking forward to our reunion & getting another "big hug" in heaven! I'll miss you, friend.
