Douglas Glenn Belanger, 59, of Port Neches, Texas passed away May 16, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. He was born February 14, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Warner and Alberta Thiery Belanger.A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.Douglas is survived by his wife, Nancy Marie Crawford Belanger of Port Neches sister, Janice Babino and husband Johnny of Nederland brother, Butch Belanger of Groves and several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clayton Belanger.
