I have the best childhood memories of Dr Kringel and the entire Kringel family; he was such a big part of church and Scouts for all of us. Great listener, always had a smile, encouraging words and a twinkle in his eye that let us know he was telling a joke or teasing us. When he talked to you he made you feel like you were the most important kid in the world. Mike & Kirk, knowing that he's gone casts a shadow on some great times we all shared as kids, but thank you for sharing your wonderful father with the rest of us.

Ms. Janice, Michael, Kirk, Mary & Robin, I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Kringel's recent passing. Looking back on our childhood, growing up a "Clermont Kid" was such a blessing! Over 25 kids on one small city street! From small children playing "Cowboys & Indians" to "Army against the Enemy" we had a blast role-playing TV shows in the Kringel backyard. So many beautiful trees to climb and flowers. Some of my fondest memories came from playing touch football in the street and basketball in the Kringel's long driveway. Dr. Kringel and Ms. Janice always had the most patience with us kids and letting us play with his old Army gear and telling us WWII war stories. Everyone hung out at the Kringel's! Especially in the summer and Ms. Janice always made ice cold pink lemonade for us. He was also our family dentist and had the utmost patience with me. I loathed the dentist and feared them until my mother changed to him. Dental anxiety was a big issue with me growing up after a horrible experience with a local dentist. When he would do an exam, he would always bring up how I could skateboard all day in the street and still not bust my teeth out. He said that takes talent! lol! I knew it was his way of trying to calm me down and talk about things I enjoyed doing..... soft smile. :) After graduation, one of my last appointments I told him I was thinking about joining the military to travel and just get out and experience life away from a small town. He replied, "well Stephanie, there is the ARMY and everyone else"....LOL! My mother told me years back after I retired from the ARMY and went home to visit, that the Kringel's- were the very first neighbors to walk down and welcome my mother and father into the neighborhood. She never forgot that kind gesture. They even suggested the First Presbyterian Church, in Port Arthur Texas that many of our fellow neighbors attended. Looking back now thru the eyes of an adult, it became our very foundation in faith, and growing up with manners and respect. Especially to our fellow neighbors. Dr. Kringle, was a consummate professional in his field of Dentistry, a loving husband, father, grandfather, veteran and a man of God. Godspeed fellow VET and old friend. You will be truly missed. Heartfelt condolences to your lovely family as well. You are all in my thoughts and prayers this Easter morning. Stephanie T. Cerami-Henderson (SFC)r Fayetteville, North Carolina
