Drema Miller Phillips, 87, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in San Antonio. Drema was born in St. Albans, West Virginia on July 19, 1934 to the late, Clyde Roy Bird and Nora Smith Bird.
Drema was a Real Estate Agent for over 30 years. She was a member of the National Realtor Association as well as the Texas Realtor’s Association.
Those left to cherish Drema’s memory include her loving daughters, Fran Thibodeaux and her spouse, Kenneth Thibodeaux and Denna Shockey and her spouse, Steve Shockey; grandchildren, Kenneth Thibodeaux II and his spouse, Marcie Thibodeaux, Heather Stuart and her spouse, Nick Stuart, and Tonya Jones and her spouse, Jeff Jones. Drema also had 6 great-grandchildren.
Drema is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Roy Bird and Nora Smith Bird; her husband, Gordan Phillips and her brother, Clyde Roy Bird, Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
