Dudley R. "Putt Putt" Butaud, 55, of Groves, Texas passed away, Monday, July 19, 2010. Dudley was born March 4, 1955 in Port Arthur, Texas to Elliot Joseph Butaud and Cinderella Marie Broussard Butaud. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Celebration of Life Church. Dudley retired from Chevron and was presently working at Lowe's. He was also the owner of The Lazy Bean in Groves. Dudley loved his family and also his church family. He enjoyed having coffee every morning at Cowboy Reds with his buddies, and was known for never saying no to anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Phyllis Hebert and brother-in-law, Jerald Hebert. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kathy Durso Butaud of Groves, TX; daughters, Natalie Butaud and Kristen Butaud both of Groves, TX; son, Trace Anderson of Groves, TX; sister, Margaret Johnson and husband, Richard of New Iberia, LA; grandchildren, Logan Anderson, Jaci Anderson, Canaan Anderson, Reese Wiggins, Tyler LeBlanc and Tanner LeBlanc; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Celebration of Life Church in Port Arthur with Pastor Donny Robbins officiating.
