Earl Ray Rhodes, 61, of Nederland, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Zavalla, TX. Earl was born on February 12, 1956 to the late Willie Earl Rhodes and Mary Elizabeth Parker Rhodes in Huntsville, TX. He was an Operator in the oil industry.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Callie Dockens and husband, Jeff of Nederland; brother, Ronnie Stringer and wife, Janice of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Dylan Dockens, Abby Dockens and Grayson Dockens. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Lillian Rhodes; brother, Tommy Stringer and sister, Dianne Pierce.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The funeral will be on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home with the burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
