Edsel F. Duhon, 89, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Edsel was born September 4, 1926 in Sour Lake, Texas to Willis Duhon and Clara Hanks Duhon. He was a lifelong area resident. Edsel retired from Texaco Refinery as a head foreman of the Electrical Department after 38 years of service. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Port Neches, and member of Groves Masonic Lodge #1315. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army, 24th Infantry during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J. A. Duhon and Earl Duhon; two sisters, Iris Williams and Grace Fielder. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years, Dorthy Stokes Duhon of Port Neches; his daughters, Sharon Brown and husband Larry H. of Mars, PA, Fran Nations and husband Jim of Port Neches; son, Terry Duhon and wife Robin of Winnie; brother, Larry L. Duhon and wife Betty of Orange. He is survived by his eight grandchildren, Amanda Huye and husband Michael of Baton Rouge, Tammie Theriot and husband Jason of Groves, Matthew Brown and wife Janine of Dallas, Niki Segura of Groves, Michelle Tallarico and husband, Mark of Ashburn, VA., Jay Domingue of Port Neches, Lindley Domingue of Austin, and Elizabeth Domingue of Austin, fourteen great-grandchildren, Madison Betz, Dylan, Devan, Dallan and Dausan Segura, Grace, Gideon, Rachel, Ephraim, Sarah B. and Mary V. Huye, Emerson and Benjamin Tallarico, and Lennon Jackson. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, September 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park with military honors.
