Edward James Boudreaux, Sr., 87, of Nederland, Texas passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Jefferson Nursing Home in Beaumont, Texas. Edward was born February 14, 1933 in Lawtell, Louisiana to the late Eddie and Louise Boudreaux. He served in the United States Army and was a member of First Baptist Church of Nederland. Edward retired from Jefferson County Courthouse after 25 years of service in the maintenance department. He enjoyed antique cars and joined several antique car clubs. Edward loved woodworking, building birdhouses and working on his cars.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie James Boudreaux and Louise Hazel Burguieres Boudreaux; sisters, Helen LeLoux, Rose Mary Barlette and Gladys Domaingue.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Renee Sanders and her husband, Larry of Nederland, TX; Robert Boudreaux, Sr. and his wife, Jessica of Groves, TX; Lora Hebert and her husband, Skip of Groves, TX; and Edwards James Boudreaux, Jr. and his wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Willie Sanders and his wife, Stacy; Stephanie Hunt and her husband, Paul; Troy Boudreaux and his wife, Taylor; Robert Boudreaux, Jr. and his wife, Kailey; Alisha Poole and her husband, Clayton; Robby Hebert and his wife, Courtney; Reagan Boudreaux and Barbara Boudreaux; 17 great grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren; brothers Dudley Boudreaux, Bill Boudreaux and his wife, Jean; Toby Mahle and his wife, Ruby; sisters, Leona Brittian and Gloria Fishel and her husband, Haskell; fur baby, François.
