Dear McGowin Family,I was so sorry to hear of Bro. Macs passing. My mother, Ann Hodges, told me of it. It has been many years since I have seen him but I have fond memories of he and your family when I was a child and when Bro Mac married Doug and I back in1978. He was a godly man, commited to the Lord and the local church. May that bring you comfort to know that Bro. Mac impacted many lives for Christ and that one day you will be reunited with him in Heaven. May you be comforted and blessed with many sweet memories of him in the days ahead. With sincere sympathy,Karen Sarver

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bro. Macs family. He was there for our family when we ever needed him for many years. He baptized many of our family members and he was the minister for all of us as well. May God bless him as he enters those Golden Gates.

Have many wonderful memories of Friendship Baptist Silsbees first fulltime pastor. We took the family in and Bro. Mac opened the Gospel of Christ to us. He urged our members to be closer to one another, but most of all to love His Lord and take a deeper walk daily. We love each of the family he left. Gods Blessings especially to you, Nita, Eddie, Harold, Michael, and Tammy. He will continue to hold you in the palm of His hand as He always has. You can depend on Him to meet your needs, comfort your sorrows, and guide your steps as you go on in the future. We value your friendship.
