Edward “Eddie” Moore, 77, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Eddie was born in Galveston, Texas on May 21, 1941 to the late, Edward Joseph Moore, Sr. and Marjorie Bourke Moore. Eddie retired after 35 years of service to Texaco/Huntsman. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. Eddie’s life was his kids and grandchildren. He supported his family with a loving and easygoing view on life and he never met a stranger.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Moore of Nederland; his sons, Bryan Moore and his wife, Ann of DeQuincy, Louisiana, and Steven Moore and his wife, Joanna of Nederland; his sister, Ann Teague and her husband, Ed of Florida; brother,John Moore and wife, Paulette of Spring; his grandchildren, William, Savannah, Ashton, and Scott Moore; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Moore.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, with a memorial service being held at 6:00 p.m., Father J. C. Coon, officiant.
