Edward Orozco, Jr. 70, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Edward was born October 18, 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas to Joe Talamantez and Argentina Rodriguez Talamantez. He was an area resident for 40 years before moving to New Orleans 30 years ago. Edward graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Lamar University. He retired from Gulf Oil as an accountant and was also a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Adams Orozco of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Patty Hanley and husband, Anthony of New Orleans, LA; sons, Edward Orozco, III and Christopher Orozco both of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Linda Harris and Alice Talamantez; brothers, Rocky Talamantez and Richard Talamantez; grandchildren, Kolby Hanley, Kaden Hanley, Peyton Orozco, and Elise Orozco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Groves with Reverend Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves
