Edwin Miller Edwin Miller, 92, of Wilson, Kansas passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Cypress Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on April 20, 1922 in Russell, Kansas to Henry Miller, Sr. and Dora Bisterfeld Miller. Edwin was a lifelong resident of Wilson, Kansas before moving to Port Neches a year ago to be with his son and family. He was a 1940 graduate of Wilson High School and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Air Force. He began his career as a butcher and later did refrigeration and electrical repair. He also enjoyed working in his ceramic shop at home. Edwin was preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years, Wray Ann Miller and three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his son, Dr. Barry Miller and wife, Laura of Port Neches, two grandchildren, Jordan Barry Miller and Carli Miller Warner and husband, Stevie and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at a later date in Wilson, Kansas.
