Elaine M. Gros, 82, of Port Neches, Texas died Friday, December 07, 2012 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Nederland, Texas. Elaine was born November 15, 1930 in Port Arthur, Texas to Morris J. Forey and Agnes LeBlanc Forey. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a vigil service to begin at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Andy Gros. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Diane Gros Fisher and husband John of Port Neches, Texas; son, Geary A. Gros and wife Donna of Saratoga, Texas; brothers, James C. Forey and wife Pearl of Nederland, Texas; Ernest Forey and wife Jo of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren, Fara Goodwyn and husband Ryan, Valerie Segundo and husband Hector, Jeremy Gros, Bridgett LeJune and husband Darren, and Dereck Gros. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Diane & Geary, so sorry for the loss of your mother and my dear aunt. I will always remember all the Christmas Eve parties the Forey Family had at you mom and dad house. She was a special lady and will be missed. Love and Prayers.........Gary and Neysa
