Elaine Guy, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas on March 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Jules “J.W.” Bertrand and Inez Ledoux Bertrand. Elaine was a lifelong area resident, where she and her husband owned their own insurance company, John Guy Insurance Agency. She was a dedicated member of Park Central Church of Christ and was very involved within the church. When Elaine and her husband were younger, they enjoyed golfing and traveling in their motor home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Guy; two brothers, Ira Bertrand and Dr. Carl Bertrand and sister, Eretta Pettit.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Kelly Guy and wife Michele Peterson of Dallas; son, Greg Guy and wife Cassie of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Hannah Benoit and husband Kane, Rebecca Guy and Kayley Cowin and husband Clint; and her niece, Donna Cooper and nephew, Mike Pettit, that were both special to her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Guy, Mike Pettit, Clint Cowin, Kane Benoit and Nathan Vidrine.
