Eleanor Ruth Gilbert Lawson Lee, born June 25, 1936, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2011 in Port Arthur, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer R. and Dorothy S. Gilbert of Port Arthur and son, Gerald L. Lawson of Tomball, TX. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy and Sandra both of the Houston area; sister, Katie Jackson of Deer Park, TX; and a sister of the heart Lynn Broussard. She was a longtime member of The United Methodist Temple and her church family meant a lot to her. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at The United Methodist Temple with Dr. Jesse Brannen officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Friends wishing may send memorial contributions to St. Stephens Fund at the United Methodist Temple.
